How to use Find and Replace
To use Find and Replace in Google Sheets, first open the spreadsheet you want to modify. Then, select the range of cells you want to search in. This can be done by clicking and dragging in the header row and column of the spreadsheet, or by using a keyboard shortcut like Ctrl+A to select all of the cells in the sheet.
Next, press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+F to open the Find and Replace dialog box. You can also find this command in the Edit menu under Find and replace. In the dialog box, you'll see two text fields: Find and Replace with.
In the Find field, enter the text or value you want to search for. For example, if you want to find all instances of the word Apple in your spreadsheet, enter Apple in this field.
In the Replace with field, enter the new text or value you want to use. If you want to replace all instances of Apple with Orange, enter Orange in this field.
You can also use advanced options like Match case to search for text that matches the case of your search term, or Search within formulas to search for values that are used in formulas.
Once you've entered your search and replace terms, click the Find button to search for the first instance of your search term. If it's found, the cell that contains it will be highlighted, and you'll see it in the Find field at the bottom of the dialog box.
If you want to replace this instance of the search term with the new value, click the Replace button. If you want to skip this instance and move to the next one, click Find next to highlight the next instance of the search term.
You can continue to use the Find next and Replace buttons to search through the entire range you selected. Once you're done, click the Close button to exit the dialog box.
